Nice! And Congrats! I caught my 1st Pikachu at level 5. Came out of work at 4:30AM and it was 2 leafs away. Then, without me even moving it vanished off the nearby list. I'm like "No! No! No! No!" and used my first incense and proceeded to walk around the parking lot the next 15mins. Never got it to appear nearby but the incense dropped one right at my feet. Missed my first like 10 pokeballs cause my hands were shaking and I was afraid it'd escape and run away but I caught it.
As far as rarest Pokemon I've caught, that would have to be Omanyte, I suppose. It's the only water type I've actually captured out here in Phoenix.

As far as rarity goes, my Scyther (which I hatched) might be it? I've got a couple Omanyte too, which I'm really excited about!
Actually, I don't think I've seen anyone else with a Raichu yet, and I caught one when I was level 4; that was pretty crazy. Strangely, I have not yet encountered or caught a Pikachu!

I don't think any of mine are particularly rare. Porygon was a fun find, I wasn't cow ring that and he's decently powerful. I'm from the UK though and currently on holiday in the US so hoping to nab a Tauros while I'm here.

Yeah i got one of those and was pretty excited!! On another note, im 3 magikarp down!!! Woot woot!! Lol only like 97 to go I only have 2 myself but they came from eggs which gave 9 candies each. At that rate, I'd only need like another 40 Magikarp to hatch. If only I had more incubators. Course, even if I did, I wouldn't use them on 2km eggs. Would be nice if they made the incubators km based instead of usage based.

Okay, I have to comment again because I'm super excited! I went to what is technically marked as a park last night since it's been deemed a squirtle nest. I did end up getting quite a few squirtle, but there was also a charmander! Just out of no where! Ahh! That is all.

I could use a few squirtles! Only have one. Cant believe theyve been so rare for me. Glad u got ur charmander!! I got a dratini yesterday at our local park and freaked out!! Then to make it even better another one spawned about 2 mins later in same spot 100cp bigger!! Thought i was imaging things!! Also steadily making some headway on my magikarp... Think ive got about 40 candies now. It was a fruitful wkend of hunting... Hope eveyone else is out there getting a lot of cool critters!

I added 7 Pokemon to my Pokedex on Sunday. Got off work at 4am and got a text from my ride saying he wouldn't be able to take me so I decided to walk it (about a 5 mile walk). I hatched a Machop and then started two 10km eggs together. Decided to use my lucky egg when I left back to work in the afternoon to coincide with hatching the 10km eggs. While it was going I evolved my Pokemon and added a Persian, Venemoth, and Dugtrio to my Pokedex. The eggs hatched giving me Scyther and Jinx. Lastily, I captured a Jigglypuff that showed up at work. All and all was a very good Sunday albeit a very tiring one.
As far as Bulbasaur goes, I've only seen a total of one even appear in my nearby list. Luckily, I was able to get one from a 2km egg (after hatching 3 Ekans back to back).

Ive gotten maybe 5 and seen a couple more that have dashed on me. I have an ivysaur so im trying to get enough candies to make the 3rd level evolution.

Got an electrobuzz from a 10k egg yesterday! Think thats my coolest thing so far!! Brings me up to 91 critters on my pokedex... Slowly but surely.

You're making faster progress than I am (curse you rural areas!). I was fortunate enough to have an Electobuzz nest at the first park I visited, so I had a few pretty early on. My Pokedex is only at 78 so you're doing pretty well.

Wow ive never seen an electrobuzz in the wild! Thats great! Those rural areas will get you. I was only at 77 until I hoarded a ton of 1st evolution things and broke a lucky egg this week and evolved a ton of stuff. Got 13 2nd or 3rd level evolutions while I had my lucky egg goin so that was awesome. Then got that electrobuzz out of my regular egg.

That park is the only place I've actually seen any in the wild either. You must have had quite a few Pokemon saved up! I was only able to evolve mostly 2nd evolution Pokemon when I popped my lucky egg. Finally got my 2nd Charmander yesterday from an egg (first one was my starter) and then a Charmeleon appeared nearby on my lunch break at work. Spent basically 15mins of my lunch break looking for it, constantly reappearing and disappearing from the nearby list seemingly randomly. Finally gave up and headed back inside and bam, it popped up at the front door... Also hatched a ghastly this morning, gave me 21 candies, so close to a Haunter *~*. They say they added a new variation of the nearby list and are testing it with a "sub-set" of users. Looks like I have it, some weird grass icon is behind the only Pokemon showing up nearby at my house. Hopefully I'll get to try it out at work and see how that goes. I'm curious what the "sub-set" testing group size is.
Edit: Guess mine doesn't have the new feature of the "sub-set" of users. Still the improved sightings list is proving very helpful.

Only level 18 but found this ponyta bike riding near the bay/lagoons. Ponyta's are quite common around my area. It's always interesting seeing the different types of common/uncommon Pokemon of different areas. Makes me curious, what Pokemon are common in your areas besides the typical Pidgeys and Rattatas. Grats by the way.

At home it's pidgeys and rattatas. Down the shore it's mainly magikarp and psyducks.
